The Algonquin Green-painted wire wheels wear bright hubcaps and plated lock rings, and they are mounted with Firestone whitewall bias-ply tires. Matching spare wheels are mounted with cloth covers on both front fenders. Series 90 models rode on a 132″ wheelbase and featured semi-elliptical leaf springs at all four corners. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel self-adjusting drum brakes.
The cabin features a front bucket seat and rear bench trimmed in brown tufted mohair upholstery along with a matching headliner, door panels, and rear carpets. The front passenger jump seat is said to have been reupholstered during the 2007 refurbishment. Additional features include painted woodgrain dash and window trim, a front rubber floor mat, rear footrests, and a rear window shade.
The four-spoke steering wheel fronts a painted steel dashboard and a painted woodgrain instrument panel housing a barrel-type speedometer and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer is said to show 45k miles, approximately 500 of which were added after the 2007 refurbishment. Total mileage is unknown. The fuel-level gauge does not work.
The overhead-valve 344.8ci straight-eight features five main bearings and was factory rated at 104 horsepower. It is said to have been rebuilt during the 2007 project. The intake manifold is mounted upside down and topped by a replacement downdraft carburetor. New spark plugs and wires are said to have been installed in 2021 along with a new distributor cap, rotor, and ignition points. A spare set of manifolds is included in the sale and can be seen in the gallery along with an included spare carburetor.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a floor-shifted three-speed manual transmission and a 3.55:1 differential. The fuel tank was boiled and cleaned in 2021, and an electric fuel pump was installed at that time. The mechanical pump was also rebuilt.
