Chrome-finished 19″ Moss Motors knock-off wire wheels are mounted with older 4.50″ tires. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel drum brakes equipped with Alfin aluminum drums. The suspension is equipped with leaf springs at all corners and is fitted with a Tompkins steering box. A set of factory wire wheels is included in the sale along with painted brake drums.
The cockpit features a split-bench seat that was reupholstered in tan leather as part of the refurbishment. Additional amenities include leather-trimmed door panel inserts, black carpets, and chrome hardware. The brake light switch was replaced in October 2021.
A three-spoke Moto-Lita steering wheel frames a wood dash panel housing Jaeger instrumentation including a 105-mph speedometer, a tachometer with an inset clock, an ammeter, and an oil-pressure gauge. The five-digit odometer shows 67k miles, approximately 5k of which were added by the seller. Total mileage is unknown.
The 1,250cc XPAG inline-four is equipped with twin SU carburetors and was reportedly rebuilt in the early 1980s. Work in October 2021 included replacing the fan belt as well as the distributor points and condenser, and an oil change was conducted. An aftermarket radiator cap is fitted, and a factory radiator cap is included in the sale. An oil drip is noted from the oil filter housing.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. The car is fitted with a stainless-steel exhaust system, and the transmission and differential lubricants were changed in October 2021. The seller notes drips from the transmission. Corrosion is visible on the rear leaf springs, and additional photos of the underbody are presented in the gallery.
