Burgundy-finished 16″ steel wheels wear Jaguar-branded hubcaps and are wrapped in Excelsior tires. A spare is mounted in the trunk. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel drum brakes.
The seller notes that the interior was refreshed in 2005 with replacement black leather upholstery on the seats and door panels as well as a replacement wool headliner and carpeting. Appointments include a dashboard-mounted rearview mirror, a lockable glovebox, lavender-tinted sun visors, vent windows, and a Sony head unit with controls mounted in the pull-out storage tray. The wood trim is cracked and peeling, a leaper logo is missing from one of the seatbelts, and the rear-shelf carpet is faded.
The four-spoke steering wheel frames Smiths instrumentation including a 120-mph speedometer and a reverse-sweep tachometer with an inset clock. The fuel level and temperature gauges are inoperative. An auxiliary temperature gauge is mounted on the transmission tunnel. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 10k miles. Total mileage is unknown.
The replacement 3.4-liter inline-six was rebuilt in 2005 and is equipped with double overhead camshafts, polished camshaft covers, and a stainless-steel exhaust system. The lower radiator hose is said to have been replaced in preparation for the sale.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. Additional underbody photos are included in the image gallery below.
