The car is said to have been refinished multiple times in various colors under prior ownership before being stripped and repainted white during the refurbishment under current ownership. Features include a replacement tan convertible top, a curved windshield, wire mesh headlight guards, a chrome grille and trim, a driver-side mirror, directional signals, clip-on side curtains with Plexiglass windows as well as Chevrolet fender badging, a three-piece rear bumper, and dual exhaust outlets exiting through the rear valance.
Red-finished steel wheels feature polished covers with faux knock-off spinners and are mounted with 6.70-15 BFGoodrich Silvertown whitewall tires. The C1 was factory equipped with an independent front suspension that incorporated tubular hydraulic shock absorbers, coil springs, upper and lower A-arms, and an anti-roll bar while the rear suspension consisted of a live axle on semi-elliptic leaf springs with tubular hydraulic shock absorbers. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel drum brakes. The suspension and brake components are said to have been overhauled under current ownership.
The interior was refreshed under current ownership, at which time lap belts were installed. The red vinyl bucket seats are faired into the rear bodywork and are complemented by a color-coordinated dash pad, door panels, and carpeting. Interior appointments include a dash-mounted rear-view mirror, an AM radio, an analog clock, a heater, a floor-mounted shifter, and polished door sills.
The two-spoke steering wheel features a chrome horn ring and fronts a 140-mph speedometer. A central 5k-rpm tachometer is flanked by gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, amperage, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 353 miles, and true mileage is unknown.
The 235ci Blue Flame inline-six was factory equipped with three Carter YH side-draft carburetors and was rebuilt under current ownership, reportedly with replacement internals.
Power is routed to the rear wheels via a two-speed Powerglide automatic transmission and 3.55:1 gearing. The frame was powder-coated during the refurbishment.
