The 15″ steel wheels wear covers with faux knock-off spinners and are wrapped in reproduction 6.70-15 Firestone wide whitewall tires mounted in July 2022. The car came equipped from the factory with an independent front suspension and semi-elliptical rear leaf springs. Braking is handled by drums at each corner.
The cabin features twin bucket seats trimmed in Red vinyl along with a color-coordinated dash, carpets, and door panels. Equipment includes seat belts, a signal-seeking AM radio, a floor-mounted shifter, and a dash-mounted rearview mirror. The seller states that the clock does not work and that the heater core leaks and has been bypassed.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 140-mph speedometer, and center-mounted instrumentation consists of a tachometer, an ammeter, and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. The five-digit odometer shows 10k miles, approximately 2k of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The 265ci V8 was factory rated at 210 horsepower and features a four-barrel carburetor and an aftermarket exhaust system. The oil was changed in July 2022.
A photo of the engine pad stamping is provided above.
Power is routed to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual transmission that is said to have been sourced from a 1960 Corvette. The removed three-speed is included in the sale. The underside of the car is said to have been painted under previous ownership.
