Replacement chrome 16” Dayton wire wheels are secured with two-eared knock-off spinners and wrapped in 185-width Vredestein Sprint Classic tires. A full-size spare is mounted in the trunk. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel drum brakes that were repainted black in August 2022.
The cabin has been reupholstered in red leather with matching door panels and color-coordinated carpets. Appointments include a custom burlwood veneer dash panel, a dash-mounted rear-view mirror, a lockable glovebox, a Sony stereo, and front lap belts. The selling dealer states that the heater has been reconnected.
The wood-rimmed Nardi steering wheel features a Jaguar center cap and frames Smiths instrumentation that includes a reverse-sweep 6k-rpm tachometer with an inset clock in addition to a 140-mph speedometer and gauges for amperage, fuel level, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 9k miles, approximately 600 of which were added by the selling dealer. Total mileage is unknown.
The replacement DOHC 3.4-liter inline-six was reportedly sourced from a Jaguar XK140 MC and fitted with a cylinder head from a Jaguar MK1. The engine was rebuilt and blueprinted by XKs Unlimited in 2008 and features dual SU carburetors, Mallory ignition, a high-torque starter, an alternator, and an aluminum radiator with an electric fan. Harmo mufflers have been added to the exhaust system. The thermostat was replaced in March 2021, and the heater core was replaced in August 2022. The selling dealer notes that there is fluid seepage from the engine.
