The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in replacement black leather with peppered turquoise carpets and body-color metal surfaces. Equipment includes power steering, Vintage Air air conditioning, outboard three-point seat belts, and a vintage-style aftermarket stereo, the latter of which is not connected to the antenna. One of the rear seat belt retractors is broken, and the seller notes a noise coming from the air conditioning compressor.
A black two-spoke steering wheel with a chrome horn ring frames Classic Instruments instrumentation consisting of a 140-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, voltage, oil pressure, and fuel level. The seller has added 2k miles, and the six-digit odometer displays approximately 1,750 miles. True mileage is unknown.
The 5.7-liter LS1 V8 was installed by the seller and is equipped with Corvette-branded valve covers as well as a Speartech wiring harness and throttle control. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec T-56 six-speed manual transmission and a Dana 44 rear end with 4.10:1 gears.
The frame was modified with a Newman Car Creations chassis conversion kit during current ownership. Features include an aluminum rear tie rod assembly as well as a cast aluminum torque arm and crossmembers.
