The car left the Dearborn, Michigan, assembly plant finished in Gunmetal Gray (H), and the body was repainted in BMW-specification metallic grey following custom bodywork to allow for a 6″ longer wheelbase as well as the installation of Chevrolet Nomad-style rear-wheel openings. Additional features include custom grille and fender vent treatments, chrome side mirrors, and dual exhaust outlets integrated into the two-piece rear bumper.
