The single-cab body and bed are said to have been removed from the frame and refinished in Capri Blue as part of the aforementioned refurbishment performed under previous ownership. The cab is equipped with a split front windshield as well as sliding side windows, while the truck bed features replacement wood bed slats along with a fold-down tailgate and bed sides.
White-painted 15″ steel wheels wear Volkswagen-branded chrome hubcaps and are mounted with Firestone Deluxe Champion tires. The truck is equipped with front disc brakes.
The cab houses a bench seat that has been reupholstered in black vinyl, while replacement gray upholstery covers the headliner and door panels. The body-color metal dash features a storage tray, a storage compartment is located beneath the bench, and a black rubber mat lines the floor.
The two-spoke steering wheel fronts a 70-mph speedometer. The five-digit odometer shows 52k miles.
The rear-mounted 1.2L flat-four is fitted with a single carburetor and features a Bosch ignition coil. An inspection was performed in preparation for the sale.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual transaxle. Additional underside images are presented in the gallery.
