The 17″ Halibrand wheels feature three-eared knock-off hubs and are mounted with 235/55 Dunlop Sport Maxx tires with painted Goodyear Eagle logos. The tubular steel frame features a Volkswagen Type 1-style front suspension and a Porsche-style torsion bar rear setup. Stopping power is provided by red-painted Wilwood calipers over discs at all four corners.
The cockpit features fixed-back bucket seats trimmed in tan upholstery. Matching quilted upholstery is fitted over the transmission tunnel, and the lap belts are in place for both occupants.
The wood-rimmed Nardi steering wheel fronts a fiberglass dashboard and center console housing Stewart-Warner instrumentation including an 8k-rpm tachometer, a 160-mph speedometer, and gauges for oil pressure, water temperature, fuel level, and battery charge. The five-digit odometer shows 1,300 miles, approximately 500 of which were added under the seller’s ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The replacement 383ci Chevrolet stroker V8 was installed under previous ownership and features quad Weber 50 DCOE carburetors, a cross-ram intake manifold, and an MSD ignition system. Additional features are said to include a 12:1 compression ratio, billet connecting rods, a ground Clay Smith camshaft, and roller-rockers. A Be Cool aluminum radiator with an electric fan is also fitted.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual transmission and a rear axle with a 3.70:1 final drive. The fuel system incorporates an electric fuel pump and a rear-mounted ATL fuel cell.
