Cream-finished 12″ steel wheels wear chrome hubcaps and are mounted with Centred Metric radial tires, while a matching spare is located under the dashboard. The suspension and four-wheel drum brakes are said to have been overhauled in 2003.
The cabin features front and rear fold-flat benches that were reupholstered in light blue vinyl with cream accents and piping in 2003. The steel surfaces were painted at that time, and a light blue headliner and door panels were also fitted along with black rubber floor mats.
The two-spoke steering wheel frames a 70-mph speedometer, a fuel gauge, and an oil pressure warning light. A Stewart-Warner gauge pod with readouts for voltage, coolant temperature, and oil pressure is mounted to the left of the steering column. The five-digit odometer shows 41k miles, approximately 800 of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The replacement 960cc inline-four was sourced from PBS Engineering, Inc. of Garden Grove, California, and was installed in 2003. It is fitted with an aftermarket air cleaner and an alternator sourced from a Fiat 850.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual transaxle that was overhauled in 2003. An Abarth exhaust system has been installed.
A collection of manufacturer’s literature and service manuals are included in the sale along with refurbishment records and a handwritten service log.
