Delivered from the factory in Pompeian Red (50), the car was reportedly refinished during the aforementioned refurbishment that was conducted under previous ownership. Features include a power-operated black convertible top, a bullet-style chrome grille, tail fins, stacked taillamps, chrome trim and bumpers, dual side mirrors, rear fender skirts, and a rigid three-piece parade boot.
Steel 15″ wheels wear chrome covers with Cadillac crests and are mounted with whitewall tires. A spare is located in the trunk. The car is equipped with power steering, and braking is handled by power-assisted drums at all four corners.
The interior is said to have been refurbished under previous ownership, and the front bucket and rear bench seats are upholstered in black leather, which is complemented by a matching dashboard, door panels, carpeting, and front and rear floor mats. Equipment includes cruise control, air conditioning, an electric clock, power door windows, power vent windows, a push-button AM radio, and an Autronic Eye automatic headlight dimmer mounted on the dash.
The two-spoke steering wheel frames a sweep-style 120-mph speedometer and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 70k miles, approximately 10 of which have been added by the selling dealer.
The 390ci V8 breathes through three two-barrel carburetors and was reportedly refurbished under previous ownership.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a Hydra-Matic four-speed automatic transmission.
