The Pinin Farina-built bodywork was repainted in its current Rosso Corsa during the refurbishment that was started in the 1990s. The 15″ painted steel wheels wear chrome Fiat hubcaps and are mounted with Michelin Radial X tires. A matching spare wheel and tire are fitted beneath the trunk floor. The 1500 features a coil-sprung independent front suspension as well as a live rear axle with leaf springs out back. Stopping power is handled by drums at all four corners.
The cabin features bucket seats trimmed in black leather along with a matching dash pad and door panels. Red inserts are fitted in the seats and doors, and red carpets line the floors. Additional equipment includes wood dash trim, a heater, a Pininfarina-branded radio blanking plate, a cigar lighter, and lap belts.
The wood-rimmed Nardi steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer with an inset fuel level gauge along with a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline and readouts for oil pressure and water temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 95k miles, approximately 50k of which were added by the late owner over 50 years of ownership.
The 1,491cc OSCA twin-cam inline-four is fitted an Accusump oiling system and Teflon valve seals. An oil leak is noted by the seller.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transmission and a 4.10:1 differential that were reportedly sourced from a 1967 Fiat 1500. Underside corrosion is shown in the gallery.
