Red 14″ steel wheels wear chrome spinner hubcaps and are mounted with 215/75 Dean Alpha 365 whitewall tires. A full-size spare and jack are mounted in the trunk. Braking is handled by unassisted drums at all four corners. The wheel bearings were repacked and the brakes were adjusted in 2022.
The cabin features front and rear bench seats reupholstered in white vinyl with red pleated cloth inserts joined by color-coordinated replacement door panels and carpets. Features include air conditioning, a body-color dashboard, a white headliner and sun visors, Impala-branded carpeted floor mats, and an FM/AM radio. The air conditioning compressor was rebuilt and the air conditioning system was converted to utilize R134a refrigerant in 2022.
The two-spoke steering wheel is finished in red and white and frames a horizontal 120-mph speedometer, a nonfunctional analog clock, and gauges indicating coolant temperature and fuel level. The speedometer cable was replaced and a refurbished speedometer was installed in 2022. The five-digit odometer shows 30k miles. Total mileage is unknown.
The 348ci V8 breathes through a Rochester four-barrel carburetor and features a Harrison radiator and an orange engine block, intake manifold, and valve covers. The engine was reportedly overhauled during previous ownership and service in 2022 included replacing the thermostat, temperature sender, fuel pump, fuel lines, and spark plugs. A battery cut-off switch is installed.
