Braking is handled by four-wheel discs that are said to have been overhauled in 2020. The suspension features coilovers and double A-arms up front along with leaf springs, tube shocks, and a sway bar out back.
The cockpit is protected by a braced and padded roll bar, and features a single racing seat with a Racetech five-point harness. The Firebottle fire-suppression system features three nozzles and a tank mounted to the right of the transmission tunnel, which is also home to an Accusump oil accumulator. A convex rearview mirror is affixed to the windscreen.
A Lecarra steering wheel sits ahead of a padded dashboard with a Pro-Comp tachometer and a speedometer as well as auxiliary gauges and switchgear in an aluminum center panel.
A 12-gallon Fuel Safe fuel cell is mounted in the trunk along with a Holley Red electric fuel pump, a Fram fuel filter, and a battery box. The fuel cell bladder, gasket, and foam were replaced in December 2020.
The 2.5-liter V8 features aluminum cylinder heads with hemispherical combustion chambers and runs on 110 octane fuel. Equipment includes dual SU carburetors, an MSD ignition controller with a rev limiter, a Powermaster alternator, an accusump oil system, an Earl’s oil cooler, and an aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. The engine is reported to have been refreshed in 2021. The harmonic balancer was rebuilt in 2018 along with the water pump, which uses a heavy-duty bearing and impeller.
