Braking is handled by four-wheel discs that are said to have been overhauled in 2020. The 2.5-liter V8 features aluminum cylinder heads with hemispherical combustion chambers and runs on 110 octane fuel. Equipment includes dual SU carburetors, an MSD ignition controller with a rev limiter, a Powermaster alternator, an accusump oil system, an Earl’s oil cooler, and an aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. The engine is reported to have been refreshed in 2021. The harmonic balancer was rebuilt in 2018 along with the water pump, which uses a heavy-duty bearing and impeller.
