Work in 2020 included replacing the heater core, and in 2021 the seatbelts were reconditioned and the carpeting was replaced.
A three-spoke steering wheel frames instrumentation that includes a horizontal 120-mph speedometer flanked by gauges to monitor fuel level and coolant temperature. A Rally Pac with an 8k-rpm tachometer and a clock is mounted to the column. The five-digit odometer shows 47k miles, and true mileage is unknown.
A reverb-effect box for the rear shelf speaker is located in the trunk and pictured above.
The K-code 289ci V8 was rated at 271 horsepower and 312 lb-ft of torque when introduced for the Mustang in June 1964. The seller notes that the driver-side front apron and the radiator support have been replaced, and there is evidence that the engine was painted blue at some point before being returned to a black finish. Work since 2019 has included rebuilding and reconditioning the radiator, changing the oil, and replacing the radiator, battery, fuel-sending unit, and mechanical fuel pump. The car is also equipped with a generator.
