The selling dealer notes that the fiberglass body was finished in Riverside Red (923) as part of the refurbishment and is equipped with a replacement black soft top. Additional details include flip-up headlamps, fender vents, quad tail lamps, and chrome bumperettes.
Silver-finished 15” steel wheels feature three-eared knock-off spinners and are mounted with 6.70-15 Firestone Champion Deluxe tires. The C2 was the first Corvette to offer fully independent suspension, with upper and lower control arms at the front and a three-link setup with a transverse leaf spring at the rear. Braking is handled by four-wheel drums.
The cabin features two bucket seats upholstered in black leather leather as well as matching door panels and carpets. Amenities include a heater, an AM/FM radio, an analog clock, and lap belts.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, amperage, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 1,800 miles, which is said to represent the distance traveled since the refurbishment.
The 327ci L84 V8 featured factory fuel-injection, a high-lift camshaft, and a rated output of 375 horsepower when new. An aftermarket air filter is installed.
The engine stamping is shown above. The RF suffix corresponds with a 375-horsepower, 327ci V8 for use with a manual transmission.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. The seller states the boding strips can be viewed in the gallery, along with other underside photos.
