Alcoa 16” wheels are mounted with 245/75 BFGoodrich All-Terrain K02 tires, and the truck is equipped with manually locking front hubs. Front disc brakes have been added during current ownership in addition to a dual brake master cylinder. The shocks are said to be due for replacement.
The bench seat was re-trimmed in black and white vinyl during current ownership, and replacement door panels were also installed. Appointments include gray carpeting, lap belts, crank windows, rubber floor mats, sun visors, and a chrome glovebox door.
The four-spoke steering wheel fronts a 100-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges for oil pressure, fuel level, coolant temperature, and voltage. The five-digit odometer shows 24k miles, around 15k of which were added by the seller. Total mileage is unknown.
The 292ci V8 is fitted with MSD electronic ignition, red Ford-branded valve covers, and a single carburetor that was reportedly rebuilt during current ownership. The generator and battery are also said to have been replaced, and service in July 2022 reportedly consisted of an oil change and replacement of the belts and heater hoses.
Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a two-speed transfer case. A custom exhaust system with headers was installed during previous ownership. An oil leak is noted by the seller. Additional underside images are presented in the gallery.
