Polished American Eagle 15″ five-spoke wheels are mounted with 195/50 Kumho Ecsta PS31 tires. The rear suspension has been lowered, and stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes.
An interior refresh was performed under previous ownership, and the cabin features a walkthrough front cab and seating surfaces upholstered in gray leather with dark gray inserts accompanied by matching front, side, and door panels as well as a color-coordinated tweed headliner. Gray carpets line the footwells, and additional details include front lap belts, a Gene Berg shifter, a radio block-off plate, and an overhead console. The rear entertainment screen is nonfunctional.
The three-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of a silver and yellow metal dashboard that houses an 80-mph speedometer and a fuel level gauge. An overhead console houses gauges for oil pressure and temperature. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 2k miles, approximately 1k of which have been added under current ownership. True mileage is unknown. The tachometer and analog clock are nonfunctional.
Passenger-side swing-out doors provide access to the rear compartment, which features two rows of bench seating trimmed in matching vinyl upholstery. Jail bars are fitted in the rear cargo area along with a matching spare wheel with an older Camac Steel Belted tire.
The replacement air-cooled flat-four is said to have been built by Kustom Coach Werks of Grand Junction, Colorado, to 2,110cc displacement and features Porsche-style cooling, a 12-volt electrical system, dual Solex carburetors, an extended-capacity oil sump, and an aftermarket exhaust system. An electrical cut-off switch is mounted near the battery.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a four-speed Freeway Flyer manual transaxle with a 4.12:1 final-drive ratio. Corrosion is visible on underside components, and additional underside images are viewable in the gallery.
