Silver-finished 15″ knock-off wire wheels are mounted with 185/70 Vredestein Sprint Classic tires that were reportedly mounted in 2021. Additional work in 2021 included installing a brake servo kit and replacing the steering idler box, rear pitman arm, front brake calipers, rear hubs, and rear wheel cylinders. The removed wire wheels are included in the sale.
The 2+2 cabin features front bucket seats upholstered in black with contrasting piping. Red lap belts are fitted for the front occupants, and other amenities include wood veneer dashboard trim, a heater, a dash-mounted rearview mirror, a wooden shift knob, and quarter vent windows. The turn signal switch has been replaced, and cracks are visible in the dashboard trim.
A banjo-style steering wheel sits ahead of Smiths instrumentation consisting of a 140-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 5,500-rpm redline, and a combination gauge indicating coolant temperature and oil pressure, as well as a Jaeger fuel-level gauge. The five-digit odometer shows 40k miles, approximately 5k of which were added by the seller. Total mileage is unknown.
The 2.9-liter inline-six is fed by dual SU carburetors and was factory rated at 150 horsepower and 170 lb-ft of torque. Service in 2021 included installing a stainless steel exhaust system, replacing the battery, engine mounts, and brake and clutch reservoirs, along with refinishing the valve cover and breather.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission with an electronically actuated overdrive unit. The transmission mounts and stay rod bushings were replaced in 2021.
