Steel 15″ wheels wear Lincoln-branded covers and are mounted with 235/75 American Classic white-stripe tires. The car is equipped with power steering, and braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums. Work carried out in December 2021 involved replacement of the front shocks and sway bar bushings.
The cabin features front and rear bench seats trimmed in black vinyl with a color-coordinated dashboard, door panels, and carpeting. Amenities include power-operated windows and door locks, a power-adjustable front seat, quarter vent windows, a power antenna, and an analog clock. The AM/FM push-button radio is inoperable and the seller notes the air conditioning system is also non-functioning, and a tear is visible on the driver’s seat.
The three-spoke steering wheel is mounted on a tilting column and fronts a horizontal 120-mph speedometer along with gauges for fuel level, amperage, and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 1,100 miles, and the seller states that approximately 9k miles have been added during current ownership. Total mileage is unknown. The oil pressure gauge operates intermittently.
The 430ci V8 features a single four-barrel carburetor and was rated at 320 horsepower and 459 lb-ft of torque when new. Service carried out in August 2020 involved a coolant flush and replacement of the water pump, thermostat, and alternator belts. The battery and valve cover gaskets were replaced in December 2021.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission. Work performed in December 2021 included replacement of the transmission pan gasket as well as fluid flushes for the transmission and differential. Addtional underbody photos are shown in the gallery below.
