According to the seller, the body-off refurbishment consisted of performing rust repair to the nose, removing dents from the body, and replacing the weatherstripping, right fender, tailgate, and floor pans before the exterior was refinished in Porsche Amazon Green. Equipment includes a removable hardtop and doors, LED headlights and driving lights, electric windshield wipers, black steel bumpers, a front brush guard, and a receiver hitch.
Bronze-finished 16″ Vision wheels are mounted with 235/85 BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires, and a matching spare is mounted on a swing-away carrier at the rear. The seller notes that the truck is equipped with a 1″ body lift, a Wild Horses 1.5″ suspension lift, and a quick-ratio steering box from a later-model Bronco. The master cylinder, brake booster, brake lines, front calipers, and rear wheel cylinders and shoes were reportedly replaced during the build.
The cabin features power-adjustable front bucket seats that are trimmed in brown leather and were reportedly sourced from a BMW, along with a brown vinyl rear bench and a matching dash pad. The carpeting and headliner were replaced during the refurbishment, and equipment includes a roll bar, three-point front seatbelts, a center console with cup holders, and a retro-style stereo linked to Kicker speakers. Sound insulation material and Vintage Air climate control have also been installed per the seller, and the floor pan under the driver’s seat is said to have been lowered by 2″.
The wood-rimmed steering wheel sits ahead of Dakota Digital instrumentation which includes a 120-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. A digital display for the Holley Sniper electronic fuel injection system is housed in the glove box. The digital odometer shows 687 miles, and total mileage is unknown.
The 306ci V8 was sourced from BluePrint Engines and was installed during current ownership. It is equipped with finned Bronco-branded valve covers, an aluminum radiator, a power cut-off, tubular exhaust headers, and a dual exhaust system with Cherry Bomb mufflers. A Painless Performance wiring harness and a BC Broncos 23-gallon fuel tank are also reportedly installed. Results from an April 2021 dyno test are presented in the gallery below and show peak outputs of 378 horsepower and 366 lb-ft of torque. The electronic fuel injection system was serviced and an oil change was performed in preparation for the sale.
The seller states that an AX15 five-speed manual transmission with a hydraulic clutch was added during the refurbishment, and it is linked to a twin-stick transfer case, a Dana 30 front axle, and a 9″ Ford rear axle. The frame has reportedly been coated with POR-15 and stainless-steel liners are mounted inside the front fenders.
