The body is said to have been stripped to bare metal before the sills, floors, and rear bench panel were replaced. The car was subsequently painted in Rosso red, and additional work reportedly included polishing the front and rear bumpers, painting the headlamp buckets, and installing a replacement windshield, rubber seals and gaskets, turn signal assemblies, and lenses as well as reproduction rear bumper deflectors and stainless-steel headlamp rings. The convertible top frame is said to have been disassembled, bead-blasted, and painted, and a replacement black soft top was subsequently installed. The ventilated 15″ steel wheels were powder-coated in silver and wear refurbished Alfa Romeo–script hubcaps as well as Vredestein Sprint Classic tires. The braking system was serviced with a replacement master cylinder, brake light sending unit, emergency brake cable, rotors, pads, bearings, and seals, and the front brake calipers were rebuilt. The front suspension was reportedly rebuilt and replacement springs, rear shocks, rebound straps, and fasteners were installed. The steering box was rebuilt.
The interior features low-back bucket seats reupholstered in black leather. The upper and lower sections of the dashboard were reportedly refinished, and additional work under previous ownership consisted of installing replacement carpets, sun visors, and red seat belts. A replacement heater core, diaphragm valves, and hoses were installed, and the brake and clutch pedal control assemblies were rebuilt. The trunk light does not work.
The three-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of a 140-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6,300-rpm redline, and auxiliary gauges in the center of the dash. The five-digit odometer shows 12k miles, and total mileage is unknown. The instruments were reportedly cleaned, recalibrated, re-chromed, and fitted with replacement glass, and the windshield wiper system was rebuilt with a replacement motor, fluid bag, foot pump, and wiper arms. The steering column surround is missing a bolt, and the key and ignition switch are replacement units.
The twin-cam 1.6L inline-four breathes through dual Weber DCOE 27 carburetors and was reportedly rebuilt during the aforementioned refurbishment. Work is said to have included resurfacing the cylinder head, cleaning the wiring harness, refurbishing the intake manifold, and adjusting the valve clearances. Replaced components reportedly include the voltage regulator, water pump, upper and lower timing chains, pistons and rings, rod and main bearings, exhaust valves, drive belts, and engine mounts. The Bosch ignition system was fitted with a replacement condenser, cap, points, wires, and plugs in August 2021.
Power is routed to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual gearbox. The flywheel was reportedly resurfaced and the pressure plate, clutch disc, release bearing, and pilot bushing were replaced. The rear axle was refreshed with replacement bearings, seals, shims, and gaskets, and additional work included replacing the prop shaft, flex disc coupling, and exhaust components. The fuel tank, soft lines, fuel pump, and filter were replaced, and seam sealer was applied to the underbody prior to a repaint in black.
