Turbine-style 15″ alloy wheels are wrapped in 205/75 Michelin Radial XH4 whitewall tires. A spare wheel set is included in the sale and pictured in the gallery. The front brake calipers and pads were replaced in 2018. The parking brake is inoperative.
The bucket seats were trimmed in black leather in 1992. Appointments include a lockable glovebox, lap belts, Corvette-branded floor mats, and a vertically mounted push-button radio.
Instrumentation includes a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for fuel level, amperage, water temperature, and oil pressure. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 55k miles, approximately 6k of which were added during current ownership.
The 427ci V8 breathes through a Holley carburetor and features an orange engine block, intake manifold, and valve covers. The engine was refreshed in 2003 and bored over .030″ by Kehl Tech Performance in Northford, Connecticut, as indicated by service records shown in the gallery. Work at that time included installing Manley Performance stainless-steel intake valves, Speed Pro pistons, a Comp Cams hydraulic camshaft, replacement rod and main bearings, connecting rods, hydraulic lifters, and valve springs. Photos and a video from the engine refurbishment process can be seen below.
The engine code and serial number are shown above.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. A Hayes clutch, pressure plate, and throwout bearing were fitted during the refurbishment. The seller notes that there is corrosion on the coil springs.
A body-color hardtop, a set of Rally wheels and whitewall tires, spare parts, photos of the engine refurbishment, receipts, and awards are included in the sale.
