Body-color 14” steel wheels wear hubcaps with painted centers as well as bright trim rings. Toyo Extensa A/S tires in size 205/70 were mounted in May 2016. A full-size spare is stowed in the trunk, and braking is provided by power-assisted discs at all four corners. The brake booster and master cylinder were replaced in May 2015, and the seller states that the front brake calipers, rotors, hoses, and pads were replaced in June 2017.
The front seats are said to have been retrimmed under previous ownership and are complemented by a color-coordinated dashboard, door panels, and carpeting. Refurbished wood trim lines the dashboard, A-pillars, and center console. Additional appointments include a Becker Grand Prix AM/FM radio, floor mats, and shoulder belts. The trunk seals were replaced in July 2015, and the radio was repaired in November 2022. The seller notes that the driver-side heater valve and vent control do not work and the electric sunroof has to be operated manually due to a broken cable; a replacement sunroof cable is included in the sale.
An ivory-colored two-spoke steering wheel features a chrome horn ring and fronts a 220-km/h speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 63k kilometers (~39k miles), approximately 6k kilometers of which have been added by the seller. True mileage is unknown.
The 2.5-liter M129 inline-six features Bosch fuel injection as well as PerTronix electronic ignition. Work under current ownership included replacing the distributor cap and rotor, valve-cover gasket, fuel-injection pump gasket, spark-plug wires, battery, and various hoses in addition to repairing the fuel-injection system and rebuilding the oil-to-water cooler. The oil was changed in September 2022.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. The muffler and resonators were replaced in March 2015. Additional underside photos are provided in the gallery below, and corrosion is noted on some underbody components.
