The truck is believed to have been refinished in its current shade of red in the early 1990s, with pinstriping done by a local artist called Spiderman. The truck bed and the panel between the grille and bumper have been finished in bedliner material, and the tailgate features Dodge lettering in a silver-leaf-style with blue outlines. Polished rocker-panel trim has been added, Power Wagon Dodge 200 badging is located on each front fender, and Adventurer badging is present at the rear. The glass and weatherstripping have been replaced at some point, and the selling dealer notes that the reverse lights are inoperable.
Polished 16.5″ wheels with MB Motoring center caps are mounted with 35×14.5″ Interco TSL Thornbird off-road tires. A 6″ lift kit has been installed along with Rancho dual shocks and stabilizer bars. Other equipment is said to include Energy Suspension Parts polyurethane suspension bushings and locking front hubs. The selling dealer describes the ride on the street as “bumpy” and notes that the truck wanders during driving and braking. The tires were manufactured prior to 2000.
The interior features separate bucket-style seats with a slimmer middle buddy seat, all of which are upholstered in black. Black carpeting with rubber mats covers the floors, and the portion of the heater visible under the dash has had pinstriping applied. The door panels bear Adventurer badging. A Blaupunkt cassette player is mounted in the factory location and powers on but does not produce any sound through the speakers.
A three-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of instrumentation that includes a horizontal 100-mph speedometer flanked by four auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 79k miles, and true mileage is unknown. The seller notes that the speedometer bounces, and the oil and temperature gauges are inoperable.
The 360ci V8 is said to have been sourced from a 1972 truck and was rebuilt under previous ownership. Equipment includes an Edelbrock carburetor and intake manifold, a K&N air filter, Mopar Performance valve covers, Accel ignition wires, and ceramic-coated exhaust headers that feed a dual exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers. An Optima red-top battery has also been installed, and the water pump has been replaced with an aluminum unit. The radiator core support and inner fenders were powdercoated red under previous ownership.
Power is delivered to the rear or all four wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a divorced dual-range transfer case. The truck is equipped with a Dana 44 front axle and a Dana 60 rear end, which are said to house limited-slip differentials with 4.10:1 gearing. The selling dealer notes that the transmission grinds going into reverse, and a repair has been made in the passenger floorboard. Additional photos of the underside are presented in the gallery below.
