The 15″ Super Sport wheels wear chrome trim rings and SS center caps and are mounted with BFGoodrich Radial T/A white-letter tires measuring 235/60 and 255/60 out back. A full-size spare is mounted in the trunk. The car is equipped with power steering, and braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums. The upper and lower ball joints and front brake pads and rotors are said to have been replaced around 2020. The seller notes that the brake pedal sticks and does not fully return.
The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in tan vinyl joined by a color-coordinated dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Equipment includes air conditioning, a center console, a Hurst shifter, polished door sills, lap belts, Chevelle-branded floor mats, and floor vents. The engine bay and under-dash air boxes, air conditioning hoses, condenser, and compressor are said to have been replaced around 2019. The radio wire was damaged and the radio does not work.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer, a tachometer, an analog clock, and auxiliary gauges. Three aftermarket auxiliary gauges are mounted below the center of the dashboard. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 2,100 miles, approximately 1k of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The replacement 454ci V8 was installed under previous ownership and features an aluminum intake manifold, a four-barrel carburetor, Taylor ignition wires, and polished Chevrolet-branded valve covers. The cowl induction system does not work. An oil change was performed in 2021.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a 12-bolt rear axle with 4.11:1 gears. A dual exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers has been installed.
