There are paint chips on the front lower valance and the rear spoiler edge as well as overspray on the right headlight extension plate.
Magnum 500 15″ wheels are mounted with 215/70 BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires that were reportedly installed in 2023. A space-saver spare is housed in the trunk. Power-assisted front disc brakes were standard equipment on the 1970 Boss 302.
The cabin features high-back bucket seats and a folding rear bench upholstered in black vinyl. Equipment includes Vintage Air climate control, a Hurst T-handle shifter, three-point front seatbelts, rubber floor mats, and a Philco AM/FM radio. A tear on the headliner is shown in the gallery.
The wood-rimmed steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. A Sun oil pressure gauge is mounted below the dashboard. The five-digit odometer shows 85k miles, approximately 200 of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The 302ci V8 features a four-barrel carburetor and was factory rated at 290 horsepower and 290 lb-ft of torque. The carburetor was reportedly rebuilt under current ownership. According to the seller, a tune-up and oil change were performed in preparation for the sale.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a close-ratio four-speed manual transmission and a 3.50:1 Traction-Lok rear axle.
