Steel 14″ wheels wear covers with body-color centers and are wrapped in 195/75 Uniroyal Tiger Paw AWP II tires. A spare and jack are mounted in the trunk. The front and rear shocks were replaced in October 2020, and the front subframe mounts and control arm bushings were replaced in February 2021. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes. A brake fluid flush was performed in June 2020.
The cabin houses seats upholstered in beige MB-Tex and complemented by a color-coordinated dash pad and carpets. Appointments include headrests, aftermarket air conditioning, a heater and defroster, a floor-mounted gear selector, and a Becker Europa push-button radio. Service in 2018 included replacing the seat pads. The dash pad is cracked.
A two-spoke steering wheel with a chrome horn ring sits ahead of VDO instrumentation that includes a 140-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and vertically oriented auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 87k miles, approximately 2k of which have been added during current ownership.
The 2.8-liter M130 inline-six is equipped with Bosch mechanical fuel injection and produced 168 horsepower and 177 lb-ft of torque when new. The front crankshaft seal, water pump, timing chain tensioner seal, and belts were replaced in January 2018, while the battery, spark plug wires, and distributor cap were replaced in May 2020.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission that was rebuilt in October 2020.
