Silver-finished 15″ Mahle “gas burner” alloy wheels are mounted with 195/65 Yokohama A-008P tires, and a matching spare wheel and tire are secured in the front storage compartment. Koni shocks, Turbo-specification tie rods, a front sway bar, and 911S-sourced front calipers are said to have been installed under previous ownership. Service in 2021 included rebuilding the rear brake calipers as well as replacing the brake flex hoses and front calipers.
The cabin features bucket seats upholstered in black leatherette with patterned inserts. Salt-and-pepper carpets line the floors and additional equipment includes Coco floor mats, a passenger-side footrest, a Porsche-branded AM/FM radio, manually operated windows, and shoulder belts for both occupants. The leather-wrapped four-spoke steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation consisting of a central 8k-rpm tachometer, a 150-mph speedometer, and a combination gauge for fuel level and oil temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 34k miles, approximately 1,500 of which were added under current ownership.
The 2.0-liter flat-six features dual Weber carburetors, pressure-fed chain tensioners, and PerTronix electronic ignition, and was refurbished in 2021 by All Euro Car Care of Jacksonville, Florida. Work included replacing the camshaft and rockers for cylinders four, five, and six as well as the piston rings, bearings, and timing chains and tensioners. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle that was refurbished in 2021 by All Euro Car Care, with work including replacing the synchronizers, sliders, and dog teeth for first and second gears. Additional work under current ownership has included replacing the shift-linkage bushings, heat exchangers, and muffler.
The Porsche Certificate of Authenticity shows factory colors, optional equipment, and a production completion date of February 1970.
