Staggered-width 17″ Campagnolo-style alloy wheels wear DeTomaso-logo center caps and are mounted with 235/40 front and 335/35 rear Michelin Pilot Sport tires. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes.
The interior has been reupholstered and features tan leather on the replacement seats as well as the dashboard, door panels, center console, headliner, and rear panel. Amenities include black DeTomaso-logo floor mats, power windows, and air conditioning. The radio and air conditioning controls have been reoriented from their stock position, and the temperature adjustment knob has been relocated to the right side of the center console. The stereo functions intermittently, the fuel gauge does not work, and the seller reports that the air conditioning system was serviced in preparation for the sale.
The leather-wrapped Momo steering wheel is fitted with a Ford-logo horn button and sits ahead of Veglia Borletti instrumentation that includes a 200-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 5,900-rpm redline. Gauges for amperage, fuel level, coolant temperature, and oil pressure are mounted in the center stack. The five-digit odometer shows 55k miles, approximately 500 of which were added by the seller. Total mileage is unknown.
The 351ci V8 is said to have been overhauled during previous ownership. It is equipped with a Holley four-barrel carburetor, an open-element air cleaner, MSD ignition components, polished DeTomaso-branded valve covers, and MagnaFlow mufflers.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a ZF five-speed manual transaxle, and additional underside photos are presented in the gallery below.
