The car was finished in Grabber Blue (J) from the factory and is said to have been repainted in 1993. Features included a silver-finished back panel, lower bodywork, vented hood, and rear wing as well as a front spoiler, chrome bumpers, racing mirrors, tinted glass, and dual exhaust outlets.
The 15” Magnum 500-style wheels are mounted with 245/60 General XP 2000 tires. Boss 351 equipment included power-assisted front disc brakes as well as a competition suspension with staggered rear shocks. The car is equipped with power steering.
The cabin features front bucket seats and a reach bench that have been re-upholstered in black vinyl. Equipment includes lap belts, a lockable glovebox, and a Hurst T-handle shifter. The eight-track stereo does not work, the heater core has been bypassed, and rust is noted in the trunk.
The two-spoke steering wheel features a woodgrain insert and frames a 120-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and a fuel-level readout. Gauges for coolant temperature, oil temperature, and alternator charging status are mounted in the center stack and an aftermarket oil pressure gauge has been added beneath the dashboard. The five-digit odometer shows 47k miles, 50 of which were added by the selling dealer.
The R-code 351ci Cleveland V8 was factory rated at 330 horsepower and 370 lb-ft of torque. The Ram Air intake was removed under prior ownership and a non-functional reproduction rev-limiter assembly has been added to the engine bay. The engine oil and a high-pressure power steering hose were recently changed according to the selling dealer.
Power is routed to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual transmission and a Traction-Lok differential. The car is equipped with a dual exhaust system. Additional underside images can be viewed in the gallery.
