Steel 14” wheels wear full covers with body-color centers and are mounted with 195/75 Guardsman Plus narrow-whitewall tires. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes.
The front bucket seats and rear bench are trimmed in Parchment leather and are joined by a color-coordinated dash pad, door panels, and carpets. Wood trim accents the dashboard, A-pillars, and center console, and additional appointments include a floor shifter, a Becker Europa AM/FM push-button radio, and a clock. The air conditioning system was converted to function with R134a refrigerant in 2006.
The two-spoke steering wheel features a chrome horn ring and fronts VDO instrumentation consisting of a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 81k miles.
The 3.5-liter M116 V8 features Bosch Jetronic fuel injection and was factory rated at 197 horsepower and 211 lb-ft of torque. The timing chain and tensioner were replaced in 2006 at approximately 76k miles.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission. Additional underside photos are provided in the gallery.
