The Karmann-built body received bodywork under previous ownership in Sweden prior to a glass-out repaint in Ceylon Metallic. The car is equipped with an aluminum hood and trunk lid as well as a heated rear window. Additional features include black beltline stripes and moldings, “3.0 CSL” graphics, a black fiberglass rear bumper, chrome wheel well lips, fender vents, and a front air dam. A collection of Sekurit glass etchings can be seen in the gallery below. Exterior blemishes and issues with the exterior lighting are described in a 2022 inspection report that is also provided below.
The 14″ Alpina wheels wear BMW center caps and are mounted with 195/70 front and 205/70 rear Fulda Carat Assuro tires. A matching spare wheel with a 195/70 Uniroyal tire is mounted beneath the trunk floor. Bilstein shocks are fitted, and stopping power is provided by disc brakes at all four corners.
The cockpit features replacement Scheel front bucket seats and a rear bench that are trimmed in black leather with matching cloth inserts. Features include a Blaupunkt cassette radio, a BMW-branded shift knob, wood trim on the dashboard, console, and doors, and manual front and power-operated rear windows.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 240-km/h speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, a clock, and a combination gauge. The five-digit odometer shows 61k kilometers (~38k miles). Total mileage is unknown.
The 3.0-liter inline-six features Bosch D-Jetronic fuel injection and was rated at 200 horsepower and 204 lb-ft of torque when new.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. A 2022 inspection reveals that the driveshaft guibo is in need of replacement.
