The hood and right front fender were repainted in August 2020 and November 2021, respectively, and the passenger-side window was replaced in September 2021. Hella H4 headlights have been fitted, and additional equipment includes chrome bumpers and trim, a front airdam, and quad headlights.
Alpina 16″ wheels are mounted with Yokohama S Drive tires, and the suspension has been modified with Carl Nelson lowering springs, Bilstein shock absorbers, and Korman front strut decamber plates. A refurbished jack and a replacement tool kit with red-handled screwdrivers is located in the trunk, the floor of which is said to have been replaced in the early 2000s. A 16″ Alpina replica spare wheel is included in the sale.
The interior was refreshed in October 2019 and features seating and door panels trimmed in red leather, while brown carpeting is protected by Coco floor mats. Refinished woodgrain trim adorns the dashboard and center console, and equipment includes power windows, a lockable glovebox, a wood-trimmed shift knob, and an aftermarket Alpine stereo. The air conditioning switches were replaced in September 2021, and the system has been converted to use R134A refrigerant. A Paul Cain handbrake modification has been fitted, the headliner and passenger-side floor panels were replaced during the refurbishment, and the dashboard was refreshed by Just Dashes of Van Nuys, California.
The fuel-injected 3,430cc M30B34 inline-six was built and installed by Korman Autoworks of Greensboro, North Carolina and features Mahle 9.1:1-compression pistons, Korman rocker arms, and a Schrick 284-degree camshaft. Other features include a Motronic 1.0 engine management system, dual valve springs, chrome moly valve spring retainers, 47mm intake valves, an aluminum radiator with twin Spal electric fans, and an Ireland Engineering stainless steel strut brace and urethane steering coupler. A fluid service was performed in March 2020 and the battery was replaced in September 2021.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Getrag five-speed manual transmission and a 3.64:1 limited-slip differential. Both the transmission and the differential have been rebuilt, and the clutch was replaced along with the clutch master and slave cylinders, exhaust components, and fuel tank.
