Walker Evans Racing 17″ beadlock wheels are wrapped in 37×12.7″ Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT tires. Stopping power comes from power-assisted disc brakes with stainless-steel brake lines. The suspension is modified with 52″ Atlas progressive leaf springs, a six-inch lift kit, and Fox 2.0 series remote reservoir shocks.
A split bench seat with a center jump seat and storage compartment is trimmed in blue vinyl and complemented by wood veneer accents on the dash and door panels The carpeting and interior trim pieces were replaced during the refurbishment, and equipment includes Vintage Air AC, quarter vent windows, and a JBL Bluetooth speaker.
The three-spoke steering wheel fronts New Vintage instrumentation consisting of a 140-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and readouts for coolant temperature, battery condition, oil pressure, and fuel level. The digital odometer shows 75 miles, which are said to have been added since the refurbishment. True mileage is unknown.
The 5.3-liter Vortex V8 was installed in February 2019 and is fitted with an Isky Racing camshaft and revised headers. Service records from the refurbishment are provided in the gallery.
Power is sent to the rear, the front, or all four wheels through a five-speed NV4500 manual transmission and a twin-stick NP-205 transfer case. The seller notes that the truck is equipped with a GM Gov-Lock rear differential and a Dana 44 front axle fitted with crossover and high-steering, a Spartan locker, and heavy-duty steering knuckles. The frame was straightened in November 2018 by the State Frame Shop of Ontario, California. Additional work during the refurbishment is said to include overhauling the transfer case, coating the frame with POR-15, and installing a Sachs flywheel and a stainless-steel exhaust system.
