White-painted 16.5″ steel wheels wear polished caps and are mounted with 37×12.50″ BFGoodrich Baja T/A tires all around. This example is equipped with front disc brakes, power-assisted steering, and manually locking Spicer front hubs. The ride height is raised approximately 6″ and the suspension was fitted with replacement leaf springs and shocks. The steering box was reportedly rebuilt and a replacement brake booster and lines are said to have been installed.
The interior was repainted in body color and features a pair of low-back bucket seats upholstered in black vinyl along with a center console and an AM/FM radio. The seller states that the air conditioner was serviced.
A two-spoke steering wheel fronts a central tachometer, a 100-mph speedometer, and gauges displaying amperage, coolant temperature, fuel level, and oil pressure. The five-digit odometer shows 66k miles, approximately 3k of which have been added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The replacement 350ci V8 is said to have received new spark plugs, wires, and a fuel pump under current ownership. The oil and filter were reportedly changed in anticipation of the sale.
The factory four-speed manual transmission was replaced with a three-speed automatic transmission coupled to an NP-205 dual-range transfer case and a 14-bolt rear axle. 4.10:1 gears are fitted at each end and additional underbody photographs are viewable in the gallery below.
