Steel 15” wheels wear polished stainless-steel covers and are mounted with 205/70 Michelin XWX tires. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes with inboard-mounted units up front. The car rides on a self-leveling and height-adjustable hydropneumatic suspension with parallel semi-trailing arms up front and trailing arms out back. The suspension spheres are said to have been rebuilt under current ownership.
The cabin features bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in brown leather that extends to the door and side panels. The suspension height is set with a lever to the left of the driver’s seat, and additional appointments include air conditioning, power windows, and rubber floor mats. The pushbutton AM/FM radio has been disconnected, and a Bluetooth receiver is installed within the center console. An inoperative cassette player is mounted under the dash. The power antenna switch has been replaced with a cutoff switch for the air conditioning compressor. The window motors are said to have been rebuilt, and a tear in the rear seat cushion is shown up close in the gallery.
The single-spoke steering wheel frames Jaeger instrumentation including a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline, and a combination gauge. Auxiliary gauges and an inoperative clock are located in the center of the dash. The five-digit odometer shows 18k miles, approximately 3k of which have been added under current ownership.
The 2.7-liter V6 was sourced from Maserati, a subsidiary of Citroën at the time, and is equipped with three Weber two-barrel carburetors. An auxiliary shaft drives the hydraulic pump, alternator, and rotary air conditioning compressor. Work performed under current ownership is said to have included:
Power is sent to the front wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle mounted ahead of the engine.
