The Pantera was styled by Ghia under the direction of American designer Tom Tjaarda, and Lusso models featured black safety bumpers as mandated for the U.S. market. The car is finished in red and equipped with pop-up headlamps, dual side mirrors, and polished quad exhausts. The passenger door is said to have been repainted, the chrome on the mirrors is pitted, and a photo in the gallery below shows paint damage. The selling dealer notes rust bubbles on the corner of the left headlight and on the rear corner of the left door. The rear bumper has been reinstalled in preparation for the sale.
Silver 17″ Pantera East Campagnolo reproduction wheels are mounted with 245/40 front and 335/35 rear Michelin Pilot Sport tires. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes. The removed factory Campagnolo wheels mounted with BFGoodrich tires are included in the sale along with an additional set of older Goodyear Arriva tires.
Replacement bucket seats are trimmed in black vinyl with gray inserts and a red center stripe. Equipment includes a heater, power windows, a vertically-mounted cassette stereo, and Pantera-branded floor mats. The removed seats are included in the sale. Air conditioning equipment is fitted but the system does not blow cold.
A three-spoke LeCarra steering wheel fronts Veglia Borletti instrumentation consisting of a 200-mph speedometer and an 8k-rpm tachometer. Gauges for amperage, fuel level, water temperature, and oil pressure are located in the center stack. The five-digit odometer shows 52k miles, approximately 20k of which were added under current ownership.
The Ford-sourced 351ci V8 is equipped with an Edelbrock intake manifold, a Holley 600-cfm carburetor, finned aluminum valve covers, and an aluminum radiator with dual cooling fans. The removed factory parts are included in the sale. Work in preparation for the sale is said to have included installing a thermostatic switch for the radiator and performing an oil change.
