The car was repainted under previous ownership following fitment of a GT5-style bodykit with fiberglass fender flares as well as a front air dam, rear wing, and side skirts. Air intake vents are installed in place of the rear quarter windows, and additional exterior details include an aftermarket vented front trunk lid, pop-up headlights, fog lamps, and dual side mirrors. Paint cracking is noted at the tops of the wheel arches.
Staggered-width 18″ polished ten-spoke wheels wear DeTomaso center caps and are mounted with 255/35 front and 335/30 rear Michelin Pilot Sport tires. Suspension components include adjustable coilovers. Braking is handled by four-piston calipers over slotted and vented rotors at all four corners, and the car is equipped with a Wilwood electric parking brake.
The cabin features bucket seats trimmed in black vinyl accompanied by a color-coordinated dashboard, center console, and door panels. The gated shifter is accented by a carbon-fiber bezel. A Kenwood stereo is installed and aftermarket speakers are fitted overhead as well as within the door panels. Additional appointments include a padded dash cover and DeTomaso-branded floor mats.
A three-spoke MOMO steering wheel fronts Veglia instrumentation including a 200-mph speedometer and a tachometer. Supplementary gauges for amperage, fuel level, water temperature, and oil pressure and mounted vertically in the center stack. The five-digit odometer shows 66k miles, approximately 1k of which have been added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The seller states that the replacement 351ci V8 was sourced from Robert Yates Racing Engines and installed under previous ownership. Additional parts and components are said to include:
A valve adjustment is said to have been performed in preparation for the sale.
