The 15″ bright SSII Rallye wheels wear chrome trim rings and 442 center caps, and they are mounted with 255/60 Mickey Thompson Sportsman S/T radial tires. A matching spare wheel and tire are mounted in the trunk. The frame was modified in 2012 with a bolt-in section to aid in the removal of the engine and transmission. The suspension is said to have been fitted with 1″ lowering springs at that time along with 32mm front and 25mm rear sway bars and rear shock coils. It also features boxed lower rear control arms and Moog suspension components.. A 12:1 steering box is also fitted. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted front discs and rear drums.
The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench that were reupholstered in white leather in 2012 along with matching door panels and a contrasting black dashboard, center console, and carpets. Woodgrain trim extends to the dashboard, door panels, and center console, and additional features include a Vintage Air HVAC system, an AM/FM radio, and a locking center console storage bin. Corrosion in the trunk and stained on the soft top headline can be viewed in the gallery.
The four-spoke steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer with an inset quartz clock, and a combination gauge. The five-digit odometer shows under 64k miles. Total mileage is unknown.
The replacement 455ci V8 is said to have been built by Performance Unlimited of New Jersey and installed in 2012. An Edelbrock intake manifold and cylinder heads are fitted along with an MSD ignition system, an aftermarket radiator, and an electric cooling fan.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a Tremec six-speed manual transmission that was installed in 2012 along with a twin-disc McLeod clutch. Dual Flowmaster mufflers are fitted.
