The seller states the rockers were replaced and rust was repaired during the refurbishment work.
Refurbished 15″ Fuchs alloy wheels are mounted with Pirelli P6000 tires measuring 195/65 up front and 215/60 at the rear. The brakes and suspension were overhauled during the refurbishment work, which included installing Bilstein dampers and replacing the axle shafts and bearings as well as the brake master cylinder, calipers, rotors, and pads.
The cabin was refreshed during current ownership and features Classic Touring LeMans front seats trimmed in black leather with houndstooth inserts and matching rear seats. The door panels, A-pillars, rear quarter panels, and parcel shelf have been reupholstered, while the dashboard, carpets, and headliner have been replaced. An Eclipse stereo is installed and linked to aftermarket speakers.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts VDO instrumentation consisting of a 150-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 96k miles, approximately 60k of which have been added under current ownership.
The 2.7-liter flat-six was overhauled and modified in 1988, and it was installed in this car in the late-1990s. The engine is equipped with a 911S-specification camshaft, oil fed tensioners, Dual Weber carburetors, K&N air filters, an SSI heat exchanger assembly, a turbo-specification engine fan, and Nikasil pistons and cylinders. The fuel lines, fuel pump, fuel tank, oil sending unit, oil lines, ignition wires, and spark plugs were replaced in 2022.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed Type 915 manual transaxle.
