Black 16″ Ion Alloy wheels feature bright-finished simulated bead-lock rings and are mounted with 285/75 Cooper Adventurer A/T tires. Warn manually-locking hubs are equipped up front, and braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums. A Rough Country 2.5″ lift kit is said to have been installed.
The interior features front bucket seats and a rear bench trimmed in tan upholstery with color-coordinated door panels and replacement carpets. Dynamat insulation is said to have been installed beneath the carpets, and additional appointments include air conditioning, front vent windows, locking center storage with cupholders, power steering, a B&M shifter, tan rubber floor mats, and a JVC CD stereo playing through Boss speakers. The seller states that the passenger-side hand-crank window is difficult to operate and the horn is non-functional.
A woodgrain-rimmed steering wheel fronts a painted steel dash housing Holley instrumentation that includes a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, a digital clock, and auxiliary gauges. The digital odometer indicates 297 miles, and the seller states that approximately 1k miles have been added during current ownership. True mileage is unknown.
The fuel-injected 5.3-liter Vortec V8 was installed during current ownership and features Sanderson tubular headers, an Anything Scout 30-gallon fuel tank, an aluminum radiator with a two-stage electric fan, and a PSI wiring harness. The ECU is mounted inside the glove compartment, and the body-color engine cover is shown removed in the gallery below.
Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a four-speed 4L60E automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The transfer case and axles are said to have been overhauled during current ownership, and replacement driveshafts and universal joints have been installed.
Photos documenting various stages of the engine and transmission conversion can be viewed in the gallery.
