The car left the factory finished in Bucanneer Red and was reportedly repainted under current ownership in 2007. Exterior features include a shaker hood, a Trans Am hood decal, color-keyed side mirrors, front and rear spoilers, fender vents, dual exhaust outlets, and chrome trim on the bumpers, window surrounds, and grille. The seller states that the chrome was replated, and the weather seals and glass were replaced as part of the refurbishment.
The 15″ honeycomb-style wheels wear Pontiac-logo center caps and are fitted with 235/60 BFGoodrich Radial T/A white-letter tires. Factory equipment includes power-assisted front disc brakes and rear drums along with power steering. A spare wheel is stored in the trunk. Work reportedly completed as part of the refurbishment consisted of refinishing the wheels, servicing the brakes, and rebuilding the front suspension using urethane bushings. The seller notes that the front end needs an alignment.
The interior features black vinyl high-back bucket seats up front accompanied by a matching dashboard, door panels, and carpeting. Equipment includes air conditioning, engine-turned dashboard trim, a glovebox, a center console, and a Delco push-button AM/FM radio. The air conditioning system and radio do not work. A removed 8-track player is included in the sale and is in need of a rebuild. Power windows have been installed, and the seats were retrimmed under current ownership.
The three-spoke steering wheel fronts a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer with an inset clock, and gauges displaying oil pressure, coolant temperature, fuel level, and voltage. The five-digit odometer shows under 2k miles, approximately 200 of which have been added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The 455ci V8 was reportedly balanced and rebuilt using forged pistons and a double roller timing chain as part of the 2007 refurbishment. Features include a four-barrel carburetor, Ram Air-style exhaust manifolds, and a blue-painted engine block and cylinder heads. The oil was last changed in September 2021.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed Turbo Hydramatic 400 automatic transmission. A replacement Pypes exhaust system is installed and features 2.5″ tubing along with a crossover tube and two mufflers.
