Steel 13″ wheels are finished in silver and wear Achilles 122 tires, and a matching spare is housed in the trunk. The car is equipped with Bilstein shocks and front disc brakes. Service during current ownership included replacing the tires, ball joints, upper strut bearings, suspension bushings, and wheel cylinders, along with the brake lines, rear shoes and drums, and front rotors, calipers, and pads.
The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench that were reportedly retrimmed in blue vinyl using replacement covers from GAHH Automotive. An interior refresh also included replacing the carpets, headliner, center console, and widow regulators, along with the front horsehair and rear foam seat cushion inserts. Additional equipment includes a heater and a Blaupunkt AM/FM stereo. The seller notes that the clock is slow, the “fasten seatbelts” light does not function, and the turn-signal indicator light occasionally remains illuminated. A crack in the dashboard can be viewed in the gallery below.
The four-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of a 120-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 83k miles, approximately 1k of which were added during current ownership.
The replacement 2.0-liter M10 inline-four was reportedly rebuilt during current ownership, which included decking the block and resurfacing the cylinder head, in addition to replacing the engine gaskets, piston rings, rod bearings, and main bearings. Additional service is said to have included ceramic-coating the exhaust manifold and other engine components, as well as replacing the water pump, alternator, clutch, giubo, and shift linkage. An IMASAF exhaust system is fitted, and the fuel-injection pump was rebuilt in July 2020. The seller notes that the engine can be slow to start if the car sits for more than a week.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed Getrag manual transmission. Additional photos of the underside are provided in the gallery below.
