The rockers, quarter panels, and floor pans were reportedly replaced and the body was repainted in 2010. Features include a white removable hardtop as well as black-finished wheel arch flares, and modifications consist of a Warn winch, steel Anything Scout front and rear bumpers, PIAA auxiliary lights, hood louvers, a Defender roof rack, rock sliders, and a dual-exit exhaust.
The 17″ bronze Method wheels wear 35×12.5″ BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM3 tires. A matching spare is mounted on a swing-away carrier at the rear, and the front axle is equipped with Warn manually-locking hubs. The truck rides on a lifted suspension with remote reservoir Bilstein shocks and features power-assisted disc brakes at all four corners.
The cabin features front and rear bench seats retrimmed in black with orange piping. Additional features include vent windows, a glovebox, an aluminum dash face, rubber floor mats, fire extinguishers, a Midland CB radio, and a Kenwood stereo wired to an auxiliary amplifier and a tube-style subwoofer. The seller notes that neither the CB radio or the stereo antenna are wired. A fabric camping tent enclosure is included in the sale.
The replacement 350ci Chevrolet V8 was reportedly bored 0.040″ over and rebuilt using Dart cylinder heads, a Scat crankshaft and connecting rods, Speed Pro pistons, an Erson camshaft, an Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold, and Hooker headers. Cooling is handled by an aluminum radiator with dual electric fans along with transmission and steering fluid coolers equipped with fans. Work completed in 2021 consisted of replacing the fuel tank and installing the Holley Sniper electronic fuel injection system.
