Brown leather with perforated inserts covers the seats, and color-coordinated carpeting lines the floors. Equipment includes power windows, a MOMO shift knob, Porsche-logo floor mats, and an aftermarket Clarion head unit. The seller notes the air conditioning is inoperative, and wear is noted on the driver’s seat bolster.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation including a central tachometer with a 6,700-rpm redline as well as a 180-mph speedometer and gauges for oil level, oil temperature, oil pressure, boost pressure, and fuel level. The boost pressure gauge and odometer are inoperative, and the total mileage is unknown.
The turbocharged 3.0-liter SOHC flat-six is equipped with Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection and was factory rated at 245 horsepower and 253 lb-ft of torque. The seller states the engine was removed in 2018 and overhauled by Retro Sport of Berkeley, California, and it was reinstalled in 2020. The alternator was also reportedly replaced.
Engine-case stamping ☆6870238☆ is shown above and matches the number listed on the Porsche Certificate of Authenticity.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual transaxle and an optional limited-slip differential. The seller notes the clutch components and half shafts have been replaced, and additional photos of the underside are provided in the image gallery.
