The 2+2 cabin is appointed with a black dash, blue carpets, air conditioning, and power windows. A Blaupunkt push-button cassette stereo is equipped but has been disconnected. An Audison Bluetooth digital media receiver is mounted within the center console and connected to speakers below the dash and in the rear seat footwells. Wear on the outer bolster of the driver’s seat and a blemish on the front passenger seat cushion can be viewed in the gallery.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames Veglia Borletti instrumentation including a 180-mph speedometer, a 10k-rpm tachometer, a clock, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 26k miles.
The transverse-mounted 2.9-liter Tipo F106AL was the first V8 offered in a production Ferrari and features an aluminum block and cylinder heads along with a flat-plane crankshaft, dual overhead camshafts, quad Weber 40 DCNF carburetors, and dual distributors.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a dogleg-pattern five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The car is equipped with an ANSA exhaust, and the removed factory exhaust is included in the sale.
The window sticker shows initial delivery to California Ferrari in San Francisco, California, as well as factory equipment, colors, and a total price of $40,712.
