The truck was delivered new in Dark Brown Metallic and Light Sand (HU) Combination Tu-Tone, and it was refinished and fitted with XLT badging at some point during previous ownership. Equipment includes tinted glass, a sliding rear window, a spray-in bedliner, a bedside toolbox and tie-down cleats, a chrome rear step bumper, and a receiver hitch with aftermarket trailer wiring. Rust repairs were completed around the rain gutters before the truck was acquired by the selling dealer, who notes touch-ups and chips in the paint, dings and crazing in the trim, signs of age in the glass, and rust bubbles in the door frames under the rain gutters. The horn and the reverse lights are not working.
Polished 17×9″ American Racing wheels and 37×12.50″ Milestar Patagonia M/T tires were fitted in preparation for the sale. The truck has been lifted approximately 6″ and is equipped with Skyjacker shocks and steering stabilizers in addition to manually locking front hubs. The selling dealer replaced the brake master cylinder, front brake calipers, front brake pads, rear wheel cylinders, and rear brake shoes prior to flushing the brake fluid.
The interior features a reupholstered split bench and a rear bench trimmed in Sand vinyl beneath a dark headliner. Woodgrain trim accents the dashboard, door panels, and steering wheel. The truck is equipped with air conditioning, a Kenwood CD player, and all-weather floor mats. Interior flaws are pictured in close-up photos shown below.
A two-spoke steering wheel frames an 85-mph speedometer surrounded by four auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 18k miles, approximately 100 of which have been added by the selling dealer. True mileage is unknown.
Equipped at the factory with a 351ci V8, the truck is now powered by a 460ci V8 installed during previous ownership, which features chrome-finished valve covers, a dual exhaust system with MagnaFlow mufflers, and an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, intake manifold, and air cleaner. The selling dealer changed the oil and replaced the stainless-steel exhaust tips.
Power is delivered to the rear or all four wheels through a C6 three-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The Dana 60 rear axle is said to be equipped with a limited-slip differential and 4.10:1 gearing, while the Dana 44 front axle has a 4.09:1 final-drive ratio. The rear differential fluid was changed by the selling dealer. Additional photos of the underside are presented in the gallery below.
