The refreshed cabin features bucket seats upholstered in black leather paired with a color-coordinated dashboard, center console, and door panels. Amenities include air conditioning, power windows, an AM/FM/cassette stereo, and DMC-branded floor mats. Work performed under current ownership by DeLorean Service Northwest in Redmond,Washington, included replacing the headliners, inner door seals, outer door seals, rear speakers, carpets, and seat covers. The air conditioning was serviced and recharged in 2019. The seller notes the AM/FM/cassette stereo and automatic door locks do not work.
A three-spoke steering wheel frames an 85-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for fuel level, oil pressure, battery voltage, and coolant temperature. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 12k miles, approximately 5k of which have been added during current ownership.
The rear-mounted 2.85L Peugeot-Renault-Volvo V6 was factory rated at 130 horsepower and 153 lb-ft of torque and features Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection. Service under current ownership has included replacement of the fuel pump and sender, radiator, accessory belts, idler pulley bearing, distributor cap and rotor, spark plugs and wires, alternator, oil filter, air flow control unit, lambda sensor, engine cover striker, and front crankshaft oil seal.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transaxle. Service completed at DeLorean Service Northwest in Redmond,Washington, included cleaning the fuel tank, changing the transmission and differential fluids, and repairing the transmission shift control computer.
